Some people only like cookbooks with great photographs.

I’m not one of those people–I can handle the imaginational responsibility of The Joy of Cooking.

For years, many online recipes were like that–no photos. And often, they’re poorly written and weirdly formatted.

However, there’s a great new site, TasteSpotting, that compiles gorgeous photographs of food and links them to recipe blogs. The photos and recipes have to be selected–people can’t just post whatever they want–so it’s really good.

I just spent awhile looking at photos of carrot cakes and now I’m hungry for lunch.
